2. 01. Apply online

   Fill out the ER Gig Worker Application. After submitting, gig drivers must upload a driver's licence photo, gig profile screenshot, completed-trips screenshot, recent-earnings screenshot, and a screen recording showing those pages in the gig app. Every upload is required. Standard renters upload a driver's licence photo.

3. 02. E-sign your application

   Instant

   Draw or type your legal signature. We record your signer name, IP address, UTC timestamp, device details, and the exact consent text you agreed to — creating a legally binding audit trail.

4. 03. Verify your identity & background

   5 minutes

   Complete Stripe Identity by photographing your driver's license and taking a live selfie. Then sign the background-check authorization. We never store your raw photos.

5. 04. Complete your included Ride.auto coverage

   Same day

   Submit a reservation request on our Ride.auto listing, then enter its reservation number in your dashboard. The $70 plus $7 tax weekly coverage is already included in your posted price; outside policies are not accepted.

6. 05. Staff review & final decision

   Same day

   Once your identity, background check and insurance are complete, our team makes one final decision on your whole file — so you know where you stand before any money is due. Approved gig drivers get unlimited miles and the $250 security deposit waived. Standard renters receive 200 free miles per day and pay a $250 refundable deposit, collected with the coverage booking, not by us.

7. 06. Pay your first day or week

   Instant

   After staff approves your complete file and assigns your car, pay the rental portion through your dashboard. Daily subscriptions renew every 24 hours after the initial payment; weekly subscriptions renew every 7 days. A $25 late fee is charged if either payment remains unpaid for 24 hours after it is due.

8. 07. Sign the rental agreement

   10 minutes

   Initial all 15 clauses and sign electronically after your rental payment. This is the final remote step before pickup.

9. 08. Receive pickup details & inspect the car

   At pickup

   Only after every required step is complete does your dashboard reveal the exact South Houston address. At the vehicle, complete the required pickup form with photos, mileage, fuel and signature before receiving the keys.

10. 09. Drive & earn

    Your rental term

    Take the car and start earning with Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, or Amazon Flex. Gig-approved drivers enjoy unlimited miles. Standard renters receive 200 free miles per day.

11. 10. Return & deposit release

    At return

    At drop-off, file the self-service return inspection with mileage, fuel level, photos, and your signature. Staff reviews the vehicle and releases your deposit hold, minus any approved fees.
